Hot Spot

Still in plastic in case it fails the Talkeetna test

We're trying some technology, new to us, and it's proving to be pretty nice.  By using a MiFi Verizon jetpack we're now able to wirelessly connect up to ten electronic devices through Bucky's phone!  So here we are, sitting in the parking lot of a most unattractive Flying J while I type on my laptop.  I went from the 2 bars of unsecured WiFi offered through the equally unattractive Denny's across the parking lot, to a full 6 bars with my hotspot!  So great!  After pulling away from Ripton shortly after noon, we are now just off Interstate 90 between Rochester and Buffalo NY, 375 miles from home.  The roads are great, traffic is light and the only danger seems to be from deer looking to cross the highway.  So, here we sit, having our supper, listening to NY Yankee baseball, marveling at the fact that we can now use our kindles, our laptop and phones.  And then, we can fall to sleep to the sound of idling 18 wheelers taking a break from moving America. We're feeling pretty invincible towing our Focus and sporting our "We Are Vermont Strong" license plate
